It's not the first time this has been done, and I have no problem with it.

I know 24 has done it to decrease the amount of commercials before. So have other shows, usually for pilots. I think MTV tried to do it with one of their shows (Coke sponsoring their weekly late-night show with Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, and sorta similar groups), but I think they ran into some problems.
I have no issue with it.
