it's kinda hard to take the early stages seriously when you were so down on them all through the off-season and they weren't beating anyone.

But they've done well against some legit teams so yeah....they're as legit as any of the top 5-6 teams. (Saints, Packers, Ravens, Patriots, Colts, Giants, Steelers where pretty much anyone there could beat anyone else on any given weekend).
