my point isn't so much that we should use it more, or expand it, or speed it up.

simply that, there are thousands of people that die for all sorts of effed up reasons that i can't even pretend to be well informed enough about to get as appropriately upset about as i should be. so, for me, TFox the Gilded and Majestic, i have trouble getting worked up personally about the one or two accidental death penalty misjudgements that might happen in a year, in the grand scheme of what i have time to get upset about.
