One condition would be that he not tell his family or old friends where he was living. He'd make a clean break of it, and use his parole officer to pass info to his mom.
He'd be going to a community college 30 miles away from where his family lives, and since none of them have any college connections, he could probably never get found by them.
He swears he has never used drugs and has been tested a lot but never got a positive. This was verified by his parole officer.
When we were talking about lifting and I said I have a desk job and am not as active as I'd like, he said he could fix that. He said he came up with plenty of exercises to do when locked in a cell without any equipment. He promised that he'd get me ripped into shape before the end of the year.
He likes to cook and says he'll cook every meal.
I don't think this is necessarily a good idea, but I do try to help guys that need a lot of help, and this poor kid has it bad right now. Of course, it's not my job to save everybody and I have accepted that I can't offer shelter to everybody that I want to.
