Here's what I've decided about Black Friday.

Black Friday is no longer for the bargain savvy Internet crowd. It's for the trailer trash that line up at Wal-mart and charge in when the doors open so they can get on the TV news and buy some cheap socks.
The Internet and the long tail have made it so that those who know what they want will get it for a relatively good (even excellent) price, rather than "kinda maybe a little bit like" what they want.
Finally, Black Friday 3 years ago was maybe the "Last Great Black Friday". We didn't know it at the time. Had we known, we would have celebrated the ending of an era. Now, we're just nostalgic for something we didn't know we had until it was gone.
