I don't know that I would run out and upgrade an XP machine unless that machine was purchased in the last year or two (maybe). XP was released in 2001

You can't upgrade from XP to 7. It would have to be a reinstall -- nm

I guess technically you could find an upgrade disk to Vista and then upgrade to 7 from there but that seems...problematic -- nm
