This is correct. Msoft says you need to do a 'Custom (clean)' install - which equates to backing up, doing a fresh install, and then restoring -- nm

64-bit to 32-bit is a big deal. Every driver has to be replaced, I'm not surprised it's a clean install only -- nm

I think it's more of the face that the installer won't offer you to upgrade to 64-bit. Tthere isn't separate 32-bit and 64-bit upgrade CD. You just
