I love that Apple is a lot less aggressive with their system. You can actually upgrade Tiger (10.4) to Snow Leopard (10.6) for $30

A lot of those are just basically service pack upgrades though, which MS gives away for free. -- nm

I bought the Win7 upgrade for $50. And Vista to 7 is just as comparable as Tiger to Leopard -- nm

Like I said, I bought mine for $50 pre-order at Amazon. I don't know what anyone else is paying. Costco as a 3 pack for $130 I believe
