Basically upgrading a system from 2005 for $30.

Apple doesn't say it in advertisement, instead selling the more expensive box set with Snow Leopard, iLife and iWork for $160, but they admit the simple upgrade will work on Tiger system

It helps that Apple makes money from the computer the software is installed on... Also, no serial number...
