I think it's a rethorical question but I'll try to answer it: 30$. The Snow Leopard AFAIK works on everything

The thing is what you're asking is impossible. The computers that were shipping with 10.1 would not run Snow Leopard. That's because computers sold in 2004 and 2005 were running a newer version of the system.
Unless you downgraded your computer to 10.1, only computers running a system from 2004-2005 will run snow leopard.
