Who'd want the Xbox 360 as a set top box for video playback, anyway, right? It's not like that's where the developers are trying to position the device... are they?
This is as myopic and disingenuous as Steve Jobs claiming that the iPod Touch didn't get a camera because Apple is trying to position it as a gaming device.
There's no such thing as a "dedicated" device anymore. If your doo-dad doesn't do everything, someone else will build a doo-dad that does.
