is it possible for surgical titanium screws to work themselves out of bone?

One of the ones they left in from my jaw surgery feels like it's protruding quite a bit more than the one on the other side. It's not painful or bothering me, just something I noticed.

I don't know about surgical screws, but regular screws do and it's possible. Especially in an area with lot's of movement. -- nm - the liioulu with rain Oct 22, 15:18
