Do you even need a level 1 barracks anymore in every town since the wall seems to garrison things?

I suppose that's true. Come to think of it, I don't see why I have barracks in each of my towns.

Wherever I have two colonies side by side, I only keep one barracks between them. nm

Isn't maintenance costs twice as much unless you have a barracks, if not they are garrisoned at double time rates???? -- nm
