Flavor Profile as discussed earlier...from my friend who cooks for a living....

ut I can say this about flavor profile, and it may translate to Food Profile: the flavor profile of my apple crisp is sweet and tart, because I add lemon zest. But if you want a very sweet flavor profile, then skip the zest and up the sugar.

Or here's another example: the flavor profile of my chili is a very dense, tomato-ey and chili peppery one.

Or: the flavor profile of this Italian dish is very heavy on the basil and oregano, but I'd like to see a more garlic-y flavor profile.
If you can remember "HOW" they use that term.....give me a complete sentence for example, I might be of more help.
