I understand you're looking at it from a scientific perspective, but I think there's some unfair judgment going on for those parents.

i don't think they've found the right target, but I don't think it can be completely eliminated either.
Hypothetical: what if vaccines are not the cause of autism but are one of many triggers. The MMR being the main trigger. Would you still give your child the shot knowing this? It would be a tough call.
My point is that even though the anti-vaccine crowd may not be right about the cause, they *could* be right about the idea that not taking the vaccine = not showing signs of autism around age 2. If that's the case then their crazy grasping at straws may be justified.
