Now consider that among the other hitters in baseball with similar RBI opportunities, the second *lowest* total was 108 RBIs. 71 sounds okay right up until that moment. At that point, you realize that opponents were trying to maneuver the team into a position where they were forced to rely upon Francoeur to drive in the runs.
