Well, he almost died! Or at least, his heart rate dropped 30bpm as soon as he sat up ... and caused him to pass out a second time.

The teams did go to tribal, but basically just for a chat, not for a vote.

(Jeff had originally told them, at the time of the medical incident - and the calling off of the challenge in progress - that both teams would still be voting someone out ... I guess the producers called that off. And no pizza for anyone, either, which was lame.)
