that is someone with a drinking problem, that's not the average tipsy-and-silly-in-the-cab-home person.

i lived with an alcoholic when i first moved to Toronto ( a good friend of mine at the time ). watching her, i actually gave up drinking for a while, but, once she moved out (well, checked into a hospital and then disappeared), i was able to see drinking as a normal thing again.
but, i have total respect for someone's decision not to drink. and i think peer pressure is insane (and i don't mean from 16 year olds, i mean from 30 year olds, and yes, it happens.)
