Squirrel update

Took her to the wild animal rescue place Meg linked earlier this morning. She is 12 weeks old, but extremely malnourished and thin, almost to the point of organ damage. The reason she didn't try to climb out of the box or move like a squirrel was that she was too weak. After the initial lookover, the vet said she probably was not going to make it, but they called just now and said she's 50-50 and the plum I got her to eat last night probably saved her.

They are going to keep her and see if they can get her strength back and then release her in a fenced in aviary so predators can't get her. They'll keep me posted.
