Here's how I do Paranormal Activity II

It would be a stupid business decision not to have a sequel ready for next Halloween assuming you keep the budget down. After this success and seeing as it's now a studio film let's say $1M budget tops. Then since you've developed this online following you let them be involved in some aspects of the making of the sequel. First step: Demand It to be filmed in your city. Then perhaps you cast three different couples as the leads and let the internet pick the couple that is used. Maybe a couple of other interactive things. You otherwise essentially remake the first one with some different tricks and release it next October. Repeat until it runs out of gas or by that time it turns into a direct to Online release.
