From this past weekend? I'll give deets, but the pics are pretty bland...
It was done by a charity (giving101.org), so just about all the clues involved charities. There were 25 clues, and they all either:
- required us to perform an action, and get a "token" or something in return at check-in
- required us to take a pic in front of a building
It was mostly all about planning the sequence of the tasks well. We did not, and ended up backtracking a couple places several times. It was *very* tame compared to how yours sounded. Here are some of the tasks we had to perform:
- write 2 thank you cards to service people (cards included)
- find the volunteers outside Atlanta's tallest building, and complete the sheet matching the celebrity with the charity they are aligned with
- take a pic of both team members in front of the MLK, Jr. memorial
- this building houses the most charities in Atlanta - have your pic taken in front of it
- this company is the largest charitable organization Atlanta, take your pic in front of any building with its name, and bonus points if you are holding an Atlanta "favorite" hometown beverage
- Find the Dell in Ansley park where a volunteer will be stationed; fill the wheelbarrow full of wood chips, and spread them along the path being constructed
We had 2 teams that ran together, and that really helped a lot for picture taking. Things we learned: have two iPhoners instead of one; have 2 googlers on standby to call, instead of one; write down the key requirements and general location of each clue at the start, and group them together.
This Warrior Dash is just a fun run and obstacle course. No thinking required. :)
