Yeah, see, a lot of people don't understand when a good friend turns on them like that.

There are words for these poor non-understanding souls. Words like 'well-adjusted' and 'normal'.
In all seriousness, if he's done this more than once or twice then he deserves to be kicked to the curb until he can learn how to behave in public. If you wouldn't take it from a signifigant other, why take it from him? You deserve better.
