The problem is, the cost. A decent loan for it would still cost as much as $500 a month, plus slip fees on top of that, and maintenance.

And then there's insurance, and if something goes wrong (running aground, breaking the mast, springing a leak, general fiberglass weakness, dropping the keel), it's even more money out of pocket.
