dtv stuff, your horoscope, download games, and highlighted bits from that night's "what's hot". You can also pick up the FOX Sportsnetwork for $4.95/month. It's great during baseball season and allows a lot more games than OTA tv. Once your sport is over, just go back online in your accout preferences and kill it. Best of all they pro-rate the bill.
You don't need $500 bucks to get set up, it's free. Plus you get an HD Dvr free, set up is free, if you sign up for the "full package" it's free for the first 5 or 6 months. Finally, if you use the account number of who referred you, you'll both get a $100 Visa gift card.
