There are places to get handmade pasta, make a sauce of your choice, that's just the entre' but to make it sensual...

buy a wedge of real parma (damn furin spelling) and shave, not grate some peels of it for a topping.

also, a loaf of tuscan style bread, now take a bottle of balsamic and some fancy spanish olive oil (american test kitchen says spanish olive oil is better in both taste and price than italian or greek)

have a big bread plate, pour a pool of oil, then a slick of balsamic in the middle, shave or grate some parma and soak it up.

and of course a salad with some slices of grilled or broiled veggies.
