i just called American Express to ask a question about car rental insurance. the question was 'what is covered?"

she answered, i had NO IDEA what the first two words were she said, i said "sorry, could you repeat that."

She did. Still completely unintelligible.

So, i feel i can't ask again, really, so I asked if it was available online. She said yes at "(unintelligible statement here)". Again, I said "pardon?" and she repeated "AmericanExpress.ca".

Her speaking is so bad, i didn't even understand 'American Express dot CA', when i know i'm speaking to AmEX.

If you are going to put someone on the phones for customer service, it would help if they weren't COMPLETE MUMBLERS.
