LIR lkf: Looks more like 4K, a format that already exists and has been used for many years as a digital intermediate

Which means you scan the films, work in 4K then send it back to film. I'm guessing ETX uses the 4K files instead of going back to film, but I never heard about that before.

To give you an idea of how unlikely you are to have a UHD TV anytime soon, 4K exists since the early 90s, yet HDTVs are just now becoming the standard...
