I have never watched FNL, but is it *that* hard to imagine that the town grew to need a new HS, or that a rich guy might move into a bigger house?

these are show-killing glitches?

I shudder to think how he woulda reacted to Season 1 which had the following story-arcs

i did watch the movie and its quality stemmed from realism, not Melrose Place drama -- nm

Aside from the aforementioned and unfortunate murder plot, neither has FNL the series.

I'm sure it has its merits and I didn't mean to imply that it was a bad show.

It's true that they sped up the timeline of a lot of that stuff. but here's the key that Guy and TMQ don't understand:

Or the start of season 2 which had the unfortunate NBC-dictated murder plot. -- nm

If it wasn't for the general awesomeness of the acting and 90% of the writing, this would be really noteworthy.

What will be a first is when a TMQ quote is posted here and people go, "Hey, he's right."

Easterbrook has the most insane writing style. It's like 3x Peter King's length without 99% of Peter King's skill. -- nm

how long until we get to point out that, never having seen the show, how could one possibly assert whether these things make sense or not?

To my knowledge, I have never read a word Easterbrook has written, so have no opinion on him, but these just don't seem even marginally important.
