Whew, that was quite a rant. Semi-related fun fact: blacks are *over*-represented on TV these days.

Last I heard, the black population was around 17%, but the number of black characters on TV was over 20%. (I'm not bringing this up as a 'bad' thing, just interesting)
Hispanics and Asians are still under-represented, and most/too many Hispanics are portrayed as criminals.
