But think of it this way, as I do... your 401(k) is now able to buy more shares of the things you've been investing

And when things repair themselves in a couple years and move back up to where they were before the crash, you'll just have that many more shares you wouldn't have had if things were stable... and your original purchases will be worth what they once were.
