Just finished sitting through a debate between John Edwards and Karl Rove at the conference I'm at.

First, I realized that I'm just totally sick of the election related discussions and debates. I almost couldn't sit through the debates again. Second, Rove (who I do not like at all substantively and for his tactics) was very engaging and entertaining and absolutely ran circles around Edwards from a debate standpoint and on apparent intelligence and knowledge. Third, the debate was interrupted twice by hecklers protesting something even though it was a private event. Fourth, no mention of Edwards' other issues. I was actually on the plane with him hear and I thought the women I was sitting next to were going to jump up and kill him when he walked on the plane. But he really does have great hair (and looks really young for his age).
