I think there's going to be at least one screeing of Twilight that will have a happy audience

Veronica has been working what seems like all summer with a local group of the Twilight Moms as they wanted to rent the 21+ screen for a midnight show.
Bear in mind that this dates back to before the 21+ screens were a) open (as in the theater was still being built) b) had their beer and wine license
Things have progressed and the screens were finished and are up and running as 21 and over only with beer and wine.
Along the way, my wife fell prey to the Twilight books as she read the first one to see what the big deal was when she started getting the request for the screening. I think she's now read all of them at least once and Twilight several times.
I've also gotten some idea what it must be like to live with me as all I hear about is Robert Pattinson.
Anyway, I was guessing the group was setting up to have a good time as their rental of the theater starts at 10PM with the movie not starting till Midnight. So I thought that was a couple of hours of beer and wine and then the screening.
Oh, and since she's been so helpful, the group has extended an invitation to Veronica for their screening/event. er, actually that's an invitation that was extended to me as well but I used the excuse that since there is a waiting list that a real fan should go in place of myself.
Now, I've been invited to go to the pre-party which is going to start at 7 PM at the bar (Bar Louie) below the theater.
This is now starting to remind me of what we saw in the restaurants and bars when we were out on the opening night of Sex In The City.
Granted it's just a single data point and may not be representative of things overall.
