Thanks for the get wells, I've not mentioned it much. It actually started in July. My L leg is ok now, with most of the swelling gone and wounds healed. The right leg is awful. It hurts to barely touch the dressings even. If you hold your hand over it, you can feel it radiating heat. I can barely put a shoe on it because my ankle is like 4 times normal size. It's so weird, the swelling starts in my foot and goes all the way to my knee, then just stops. There's a definite line of demarcation. The worst is all the open wounds where the skin burst open and won't heal. When my doc cultured it, there were 2 kinds of bacteria (no mersa, thank goodness) e.Coli and Pseudomonas. I just finished the last dose of mu new antibiotic today and have to see my doc this week. :)
