When a program has NCAA violations and then a guy as unqualified as Kevin Gilbertson coaching, there aren't many who'll turn it around.

Tyrone was good enough to get hired at ND. He was good enough to start his career *BETTER* than Charlie Weiss.
He was good enough to give Charlie Weis the talent necessary for Charlie to extort a 10yr contract from ND.
I mean, clearly inheriting a team as shitty as U-Dub and then getting unfortunate proves Tyrone can't coach.
