Jim's counting the days 'til Pam returns and she just called and told him that she's not doing so well in one class and that getting it right means another 3 months in New York. He was noble and told her to do what she needs to do to achieve her dream and do the extra 3 months and she told him her cell battery was low because she was beginning to cry.
