The Pats dodged a bullet that Brady didn't get a pick 6 on 3rd and 2 but their offense was their only hope of winning that game.

you know what? fine, then don't use your last timeout *before* the play. save the ability to challenge, at least.

That's hindsight, though. They can't play differently because they might need to challenge something.

i hold them to a higher standard than that. if they wanted to go for it there, they should have thought of it more than two seconds beforehand...
