He lost tonight but that is because a player didn't catch the ball. He has championships because he makes choices that brave. -- nm

I don't think it was a brave choice. At best I would call it a desperate choice. At worst I would say an extreme lapse in judgement.

I have the result as my proof.

I saw it as the decision of a coach who knew his defense was done for the night.

His defense was only done when the Pats didn't convert.

Well if his defense was done, they sure didn't need Peyton on their own 30. LOL I love this debate.

I'm saying that it didn't matter if they stuck them inside the 20.

Seriously, did you watch the drive before?

I saw the drive after too. Was a pretty quick one, because they started on the Pats 30. -- nm

Exactly the point that destroys your argument. Ball position was irrelevant. NE was toast on defense. -- nm

i will say: the Colts showed total disregard for the Pats' ability to stop them at the end.

That's probably because the Pats lacked that ability.

There is a thing called a clock. BTW was Peyton 100% accurate on that drive? No misses, or drops? -- nm

One incompletion after the INT.

You are right. Bill made the right call. Did they win now that I agree? -- nm

Of course I'm right. Yes, he did. No, because football isn't chess.

So those 5 punts in the first half by Indy was because he was lulling them into a false sense of security?

80 yards in 90 seconds. Nice try on the selective memory, though. -- nm

Stop being biased because we disagree on another point. He is saying by the fact that he is Peyton Manning the game is over.

To be fair, I would say the same thing about Brady.

you're making the point. any other QB in the world and Belichick punts in that situation -- nm

Uh, he should have still punted so yeah. He should have punted if that was Joe Montana. -- nm

first half is bygones. maybe the only QB better at driving the field for a win in the last two minutes is Brady himself -- nm

Being at the other 20 hadn't helped them any two minutes prior. I think BB was paying closer attention to that than you were.

It was a winning call and the right play. Had the guy not muffed it, you aren't saying a word right now.

It was a bold call, but I guarantee that even Bill will admit that there was a sequence of poorly executed plays down the stretch that hurt.
