How often in the past has the mastermind been the target after the merge rather than whomever has been the physically dominant player in challenges? That assessment of who the real threat is versus the perceived threat is reason enough to show that the people this season get what they should be doing. Kenny saw who was most like him on the other tribe and took that person out in predatory fashion.
