There I disagree. I think coaches don't use timeouts to save clock on defense (when they're ahead) enough.

There comes a point where you know the clock isn't going to save you. The team is either going to score or not. Too often I see teams in the lead by 2 points with the opposing team in field goal range, not use timeouts. It infuriates me.
