do the whole Spock of the future shows up business. Until then this movie was cruising in great fashion. And I know that the villain's relationship to future Spock is what drives the plot of this movie but still it eats at me.

The whole universe and he shows up, on that particular planet, in that particular cave, at that particular moment when he was needed most. Argggh!
