Weekend Report: I had a crapload of fun playing Broomball

There is a lot of slipping and falling, though. Like, it pretty much can't be helped, especially after drinking!

We rented out the rink at the Pasadena Civic Center for a few hours. Who knew it was even possible to rent an ice rink from 11pm-2am on a Saturday night? Anyway, it was wild and nobody kept score. Kind of like that scene in Firefly where they play that piggy back basketball in the cargo bay.

Few of us were spared falling down, bumps and bruises. In fact, my right arm is in a splint right now because I noticed pain and swelling after the game. Of course it's dumb, but during the game, I chose to keep playing after I hurt myself. I simply played left-handed for most of the time. Then, my twin took me to urgent care at like 3am.

I don't care, though. That shit was fun, and quite an experience.

Good times, good times.
