Upon reflection, I think Mythology shows would be better served to follow the Lost/BSG play book and lead with a 2-3 hour miniseries/telemovie.

The genius of 33 is that it can throw viewers right in the middle because of the miniseries. All of the shows that have followed meander too much at the start. A narrow focus is better.
