I used to use Peapod and Safeway delivery in Seattle, I'd tip $5 if they brought it upstairs into my apartnent. A few times, the Safeway guy actually

helped me put stuff away. He got $10. If they just dumped the boxes and bags in our downstairs (mostly Peapod) they got zero tip. I mean, it's a real bitch getting 2 weeks of groceries up to the 4th floor when you don't have a cart. I just used cloth bags and stuff and I felt the same as being in a buffet line where the server only brings your drink--that's just not the service I'll reward.
