Twlight has a 5.9 rating on IMDB. It didn't get nominated for Best Picture. It won't have re-releases.

It was only a mid range box offfice hit. I'm not sure I'd even call it a blockbuster. Harry Potter won't reach the status you think Twilight will, and that has a bigger fanbase with much more well received movies.
People still love Star Wars the same as they did 30 years ago. It's the reason Lucas can continue to bring out any dreck named "Star Wars", and have it sell. Not even the teenage girls love Twilight enough to drive the internet ratings high enough to be "liked".
