What you're doing right now -- and I'm saying this with all due respect -- is that you are seeing it as a fluke. Google the book sales (Twilight was #1 of 2008 and there is a decent chance that the four books finish in the top six for 2009) and tell me if it seems like a fad. What we've just witnessed is the genesis of a franchise and since we think it's crap, many are trying to write it off. My question is simple. Explain Transformers that way.
