The problem here is that you're painting the fans as universally teens. I would estimate 70% of the fanbase is over 20.

Even on this board, you can see how many adult women don't care that it sucks. They love it anyway. That should give you pause. I say again that it's not what you think it is. Do the research here. It will scare the holy fuck out of you. There are Cougars for Cullen web sites. To larger point, it wouldn't get this volume of book sales simply through teen girls. That was just the first wave.
