oh, also: I haven't been to a movie in at least two months, maybe more. It's been mostly uninteresting dreck, or stuff that's fine on DVD.

It takes a lot to get me to go to the theatre for a movie I'm genuinely interested in - however, after a spell like this, there's a certain urge to check out an event movie (like twilight, although I have no plans to see it) just for the event atmosphere. Occasionally it overrides good taste (Transformers in IMAX, for example).
The next movie I have any desire to see in theatres is Sherlock Holmes.
