Can I share my related 'mistaken e-mail address' story? I've probably told it before.

During 2007 spring training, I got an e-mail at my second, lesser used GMail account from a Navy gov address, that said the following:
Subj: what up?
'what up fucker and marisol? i just wanted to drop you guys a quick emial(since i firnally figured out how to do it from the boat) and see how your trip is going. my deployment is about 1/2 over and i've only been to 2 places. they keep changeing our scedule. we have a few ports left on the scedule, but they won't be any were near you guys. what really sucks is i have no idea whats going on with the redsox. if you know anything i'd appreciate it. well i gotta go, but feel free to email me and let me know how your trip is going.'
so i decide, hey, i have sox news. i'll help him out. and reply:
'Hey man, I think you got the wrong e-mail address, because [..]@gmail.com is one of mine.
However, if you're behind on BoSox news, here's a recap: Papelbon is going back in the bullpen to close. Julian Tavarez is going to be the #5 starter. Timlin is starting the year on the DL, but they expect him back by April 8th. JD Drew has been raking the ball all spring, but Coco still hasn't figured it out, it seems. Matsuzaka has a spring ERA under 3.00, and he still claims he doesn't have his usual command yet. All in all, things are looking pretty good for a big 07.'
he writes back:
'mr. douglass,
i'm sorry about the mixup. my friend's email address is very similiar to yours. anyway i really appreciate the update. i've been out to sea for a few months now and haven't gotten any sox news other than what you sent me.
thanks again'
sounded like he was a little embarrassed about saying 'fucker' to a stranger; if he only knew what stranger he wrote to... :)
