But gas prices leading to more people driving is way down the list of reasons for an accident behind not getting enough sleep, having a fifth of bourbon, talking on a cell phone, road rage and just plain bad driving, among many other things.
Just like low interest rates don't have to lead to a housing crash if protections are in place. You blame the lack of protections, not the low interest rates.
