I like Gehry's style, generally speaking, I just think it works better for standalone buildings (for example, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA)

the lack of affordable housing is a huge negative, as well as the overall intended scale of the project. Though at this point I'm more concerned that nothing will get built at all, due to the economics. Developers are already struggling to fill their condo buildings in downtown Brooklyn as it is. I can't see someone wanting to break ground on any new housing until the existing stock works through the market. What i would love is for the city to come in and take over the housing part of the project, to make sure something gets built, and keep it affordable.
